Use of Website / App
This website ("site") or app ("app") is owned and operated by Bauer Consumer Media Limited ("Bauer", "we", and "us"). Bauer is an English company registered under company number 01176085. Its registered address is Media House, Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, PE2 6EA (VAT Registration Number is 918561701).
These subscription terms and of use should also be read in conjunction with Website Terms of Use 2025-02-05 — Bauer Media Group: Legal ("Terms of Use") (together with the documents referred to in it) tells you the terms on which you may use our site/app, whether as a guest or as a registered user. Please read these Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the site/app. By using our site/app you indicate that you accept these Terms of Use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please refrain from using our site/app.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Subscription Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use, the Subscription Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
Please also read our privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") which explains how we will use any information about you that we receive. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms of Use. Additional terms may apply to particular services offered by us ("Additional Terms"). These Additional Terms will be set out at the point of access to the relevant service. If there is any inconsistency between the Additional Terms for a particular service and the Terms of Use, the Additional Terms will prevail.
Definitions
The term ‘subscription’ refers to the arrangement between you and us (‘Bauer Media’) to receive a service or product via Bauer Media regularly by paying in advance. This can include:
• ‘Digital subscription’ (means ‘Digital edition subscription’) which includes access to the digital edition, content and Subscriber-only rewards via the app
• ‘Print + Digital subscription’ (means ‘Print magazine + Digital edition subscription or Package’) which includes a magazine, available as a hardcopy delivered to your door and access to the digital edition, content and Subscriber-only rewards via the app
New Subscriptions
• Subscribers and members must be 18 years of age or older. Please note that we reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time in our sole discretion.
• In order to offer you our fantastic savings, subscriptions may not include any promotional items packaged with the magazine at newsstand.
• We reserve the right not to fulfil and to cancel orders if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your payment card or cheque, or in the event of obvious inaccuracies or mistakes in the prices that have been advertised to you.
• If you have ordered via Greatmagazines.co.uk, your order will be acknowledged via email within 48 hours with a confirmation of your subscription/membership details.
App terms
• By accessing the website or App you are agreeing to the Terms and condition of usage as detailed here.
• For a Digital subscription (either on its own or as part of a package) you can access the digital content via the App. If you purchased via www.greatmagazines.co.uk, you are required to create an account and log in, in order to access the digital content. For help to download the App please click here. You will be able to access the current content immediately upon logging in.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password and other credentials (your ‘Credentials’) that you will be asked to create to access the digital content, its features or portions thereof. We are not responsible for any misuse of your Credentials by any third party, whether authorised by you or not. You agree to immediately notify Bauer Media of any actual or suspected unauthorised use of your Credentials or any other breach of security. We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised use of your Credentials or for your failure to follow the requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to suspend access to digital content if we suspect access details have been shared with a third party, pending investigation.
• Failure to keep the App updated to the latest version may mean you are unable to access the App.
• Please note that platforms and features may differ based on your selected subscription or membership for your chosen magazine.
• If your subscription is active, you’ll be able to access all content in the app. But if you cancel, from the expiry date of your subscription you will lose access to all content and any related member benefits and rewards.
Subscriptions/Memberships terms
• In an effort to improve the overall subscription/membership product and customer experience, we reserve the right to alter and modify the product platforms, features, and elements of it at any point. Additionally, we reserve the right to change or terminate any offered subscriptions or promotions at any time.
• Please note that platforms and features may differ based on your selected subscription or membership for your chosen brand.
• If there are any changes to the amount of your Payment, Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
• During your subscription or membership term we reserve the right to increase your payment, however we’ll notify you prior to changes by email or by post
• The reselling of subscriptions and/or memberships complementary gifts included with the subscription or individual magazines is strictly prohibited and may result in the order being cancelled by us.
• If you ordered via Greatmagazines.co.uk, please note that we will send you service emails relating to your subscription or membership such as issue dispatch notifications, feedback surveys and notifications about your usage of the different subscription or membership areas, and these will be sent regardless of your marketing communication preferences. In addition, as part of your subscription agreement, Bauer Media may contact you for research purposes to find out about your experiences with the magazine, regardless of your marketing communication preference.
• Savings for print and package subscriptions are based on the UK or Overseas (Europe, USA and Rest of the World regions) basic cover price of magazines, offers are valid for specified region and by payment method advertised only.
• Savings for digital subscriptions are based on the UK basic price of the magazine. Offers are valid for specified region and by payment method advertised only.
• Welcome gift(s) if included are subject to availability. Should we run out of the listed item you will be offered an alternative product of a similar value or a three-issue extension. The welcome gift will be sent separately to the magazine, and we ask customers to allow up to 28 days for delivery. No gift will be released for sending until your payment for the subscription or membership has been received and successfully processed. We will notify you via email if there are any unforeseen delays. Please note, for gifted subscriptions, the welcome gift is sent to the billing address of the payer (not to the gift subscription recipient). Bauer Media reserve the right to amend or terminate an order and/or request the return of gifts in cases of suspected user breach.
• Subscriber and Membership Emails: You will receive regular emails as part of your subscription or membership*, sent to the email address you have provided, updating you on new features, benefits and rewards available to you. Should you wish to opt-out of these emails, you are entitled to do so at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained within the email or emailing dataprotectionofficer@bauermedia.co.uk. If this is a gifted subscription or membership, please ensure the recipient provides their email address to receive all their subscriber or member benefits. *Only sent to those who ordered via Greatmagazines.co.uk
• Renewals: If you have purchased via a recurring payment offer, you will not receive a renewal reminder and your subscription/membership will automatically renew to ensure continuity. If you have purchased via a one-off payment, you will receive a renewal reminder via email or letter, prior to the expiry of your subscription or membership. As part of your subscription or membership agreement and regardless of your marketing communication preferences, Bauer Media may contact you up to 3 months after expiry with renewal reminders.
• Subscriber and Member Rewards: If you’ve purchased a digital subscription, a digital + print subscription or a membership and created an account, you will have immediate access to rewards* from a selection of hand-picked third-party brands of your chosen title. Each reward is accessible by clicking on the rewards area at the bottom of the app home screen. The rewards will include, and are not limited to discounts, special prices, free prize draws, and early access to events, such as sales or new product collections. Each reward will be subject to its own unique terms & conditions and eligibility rules from the third-party provider and/or Bauer Media and will be available to claim during a predefined redemption period. Specific rewards may operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability, we cannot always guarantee there will be enough products or discounts to go around. Please check each reward for finer details. Rewards will be published on an ad hoc basis, and if your subscription or membership is cancelled or ceases, access to the app, digital edition and rewards will be revoked. *Please note, not all magazine brands will offer rewards.
Reward Programme General terms
• The Reward Programme is a series of promotional offers and free prize draws to Bauer Media subscribers and members which are operated on behalf of Bauer Publishing (‘Bauer Media’) by Bauer’s chosen providers (the Promotion).
• Please read the App Terms and Conditions, which can be found in the Terms of Use in your app, and the specific claim instructions. These form part of these Reward Terms &Conditions. 1) Companies featured in the app are subject to change without notice. 2) The Promotion is available to Bauer Subscribers and Members who are aged 18 years or older and is valid for existing subscriptions and memberships only. 3) The Promotion provided by each individual company within the app are subject to separate terms & conditions, including how to redeem, as advised at the time of viewing. The Promotion becomes invalid if the terms & conditions are not met. 4) The Reward cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts appearing on the individual companies’ websites. Some offers within the Reward may not be available over the Christmas and New year period, bank holidays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and other celebratory and special occasions. 5) All companies featured within the Reward Programme will have their own separate terms & conditions which may be found in each individual reward in the reward area. 6) While Bauer Media makes every reasonable effort to quality check the companies listed, neither Bauer Media can accept any responsibility for the failure of any participating companies. 7) Bauer Media reserve the right to withdraw a Promotion at any time without notice, although Promotion already taken will be honoured. 8) Bauer Media reserves the right to vary these terms &conditions at any time at our sole discretion. Such
variations will become effective immediately upon posting of the varied Reward Terms. By continuing to take part in the Promotion you will be deemed to accept such variation. 9) Queries arising from the Promotion should go to the email address listed within the Reward ‘how to redeem’ section.

Payment Method details
• Direct Debit: Once a Direct Debit Agreement is completed and accepted, it remains active until cancelled. This means that we will continue to take the payment due until the Agreement is cancelled by you at your bank and/or with ourselves. Unless we change any information on the Direct Debit schedule (term, claim date or payment) we will not send a reminder the next payment is due. Once a payment has been collected, no refund will be made, and any cancellation will be from the next claim date of the payment. You have the right to cancel your Direct Debit in accordance with Direct Debit Guarantee below. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues/membership access you have already paid for.
• The Direct Debit Guarantee: This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits. If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Bauer Consumer Media Ltd (publisher of the magazine and content on this site) will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Bauer Consumer Media Ltd to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request. If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Bauer Consumer Media Ltd or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund, you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Bauer Consumer Media Ltd asks you to. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
• Continuous Credit/Debit Card: Payments where we take the money from your chosen card on a recurring basis and your subscription or membership will renew automatically for the period stated on your order confirmation. If there are any changes to the amount of your Payment, Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. You have the right to cancel your continuous card payment and must do this at your bank and/or with us. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues/membership access you have already paid for.
• Recurring PayPal: Payments where you consent to us deducting the subscription payment from your PayPal Account or Nominated Payment Source. Each payment is deducted for the time period (i.e., annual, quarterly, monthly or 6 monthly) as stated on your order confirmation. The payment will automatically be deducted when due (for the same time period) until you cancel your subscription or membership. In accordance with the Recurring Payments and Billing Agreement you can cancel your recurring subscription at any time up to three (3) working days prior to the scheduled date of the automatic payment (Termination Date). If you fail to cancel your recurring subscription by the Termination Date (next automatic payment date), you acknowledge and agree you will be automatically charged on the scheduled date for the agreed payment amount. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues/subscription or membership access you have already paid for. If there are any changes to the amount of your payment, Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
• Trials: If you have purchased a subscription or membership using an introductory trial offer on a recurring payment method an initial payment for the time period specified in the applicable offer will be taken and the subscription or membership will then continue at the step-up rate and frequency specified, unless you are notified otherwise.
• One-off annual payment offers: Once a payment has been made, no refund will be given if outside of the 14-day cooling period. This starts once you have received your order confirmation.
Cancellation
• When you cancel a subscription or membership, you cancel only future charges associated with your subscription or membership. You may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time, but the cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing period.
• If your subscription is active, you’ll be able to access all content in the app. But if you cancel, from the expiry date of your subscription you will lose access to all content and any related member benefits and rewards.
• If you have purchased via the app, you can cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple Account/Google Play account settings. The subscription will continue to renew automatically until cancelled.
• Trials: If you wish to cancel before the end of your trial period, please notify customer services at least 10 days before the end of your trial. Should the next payment have already been taken by the time you cancel, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund. Any subsequent payments are non-refundable, and any cancellations will be from the next payment date.
• If you have purchased via www.Greatmagazines.co.uk, the minimum subscription/membership term is 12 months, following the 14-day cooling off period.

Data Protection
We will collect and use personal data that is supplied to us in connection with your subscription in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our Privacy Notice. Please read this in conjunction with these Terms & Conditions. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Notice.
Content
All rights in any content provided to you in connection with your subscription are owned by Bauer Media t or our licensors. No part of any such content may be reproduced in any form without our prior written permission or as permitted by law. You may only use the content for your own requirements.
We use reasonable endeavours to ensure that all information contained in subscription content is accurate and up-to-date at the time of publication but all warranties, conditions and terms implied under this contract or by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
